UPDATE: September 11, 2009

We wish to remember our beloved vessel, Asgard II, which sank 1 year ago today on September 11 2008 in the Bay of Biscay. It is important today to remember our beautiful ship and all the joy she brought to the people who sailed on her and knew her. Once again, we wish to thank and praise our crew and trainees who sailed on her final voyage and to everyone who was involved in the successful rescue mission. We have received great support over the past year and wish to thank you all for this.

Today also ‘Creidne’ finishes her sail training programme for this year and we wish to thank the Naval Service for providing a very successful programme of cruises. The response from participants has been extremely positive.
